A pharmaceutical company has developed a new monoclonal antibody treatment against a respiratory virus. This treatment is produced using the hybridoma technique. Meanwhile, a person who recovers from infection with the same virus develops natural immunity.
Compare the production of antibodies and the resulting immunity in these two situations.
