Kinematics of motion in a straight line: calculation question

3 marksChallenge

A particle moves in a straight line. Its velocity at time tt seconds is given by v(t)=6t2+4t+2v(t) = 6t^2 + 4t + 2 m/s. At t=0t=0, the displacement s=0s = 0. Find an expression for s(t)s(t) in terms of tt.

  1. (a)

    Determine s(t)s(t).
