A biopsy from a rapidly growing skin lesion shows many cells undergoing cell division, whereas normal skin tissue shows very few dividing cells.
Outline the stages of the mitotic cell cycle and outline how a loss of control over this cycle could lead to the formation of a tumour.

Outline means: Give the main points briefly. Less detail than describe, but every key step has to be there. One short line per step, in order. The marks are for coverage, not depth.
