Chemical energetics: describe question

Describe7 marksChallenge

A reaction: A(s)+B(g)→C(g)\ce{A(s) + B(g) -> C(g)}, has ΔH=+50\Delta H = +50 kJ mol−1^{-1} and ΔS=+120\Delta S = +120 J K−1^{-1} mol−1^{-1}. Describe the effect of temperature on the feasibility of this reaction. In your answer, include the Gibbs equation, the signs of ΔH\Delta H and ΔS\Delta S, and an explanation of how the sign of ΔG\Delta G changes with temperature.

How this question is marked

7 marks, so the mark scheme is looking for about 7 separate creditworthy points. Making the same point twice in different words earns it once.

Describe means: Say what happens or what something is like, in order and with detail. You are not being asked why. If there is data, quote it: name the trend, then give figures with units at the points where it changes.
